Market Rate
Multifamily buildings with three or more units that fall outside income-qualified or public-housing categories can still take advantage of this program: we provide a free on-site assessment and install energy-saving devices—LED lighting, smart thermostats, and other efficiency upgrades—at little to no cost to you, because the program covers most or all of the expense. These improvements immediately cut utility bills, enhance resident comfort, and raise property value without tapping your budget.
Public Housing and Income Eligible Buildings
For buildings owned or managed by a Public Housing Authority—or those where most residents meet ComEd’s income guidelines—the program covers a deeper suite of benefits: no-cost energy assessments, direct installation of LEDs, thermostats, weatherization measures, and generous incentives for bigger projects like boiler or water-heater replacements. These upgrades come at little or no cost to the owner, helping keep rents affordable while improving tenant comfort and cutting utility bills across the entire property
